שמי גדי בן חיים ואני מורה לגיטרה עם 30 שנות ניסיון בהוראה בארץ ובארצות הברית. אני מנגן על גיטרה 45 שנים,אחרי הצבא נסעתי ללמוד בברקלי בבוסטון,שם סיימתי תואר ראשון ולאחריו יצאתי לסיבוב הופעות של שלוש שנים ברחבי ארצות הברית. לאחר סיום סיבוב ההופעות לימדתי גיטרה שלוש שנים בניו ג’רזי. חזרתי לארץ בשנת 1991 ומאז אני מופיע עם מיטב האומנים בארץ כגון דפנה ארמוני,שם טוב לוי,עוזי חיטמן ז״ל,שלום חנוך,אביב גפן,צביקה פיק,גרי אקשטיין,ועוד רבים אחרים.

הופעתי ב תוכניות טלוויזיה כגון יאיר לפיד,רבקה מיכאלי,דן שילון,מירב מיכאלי ועוד. בשנת 2000 הקמתי את בית ספר/אולפני גיג בגבעתיים בו אני מלמד ומפיק מוזיקה עד היום.

My name is Gadi bem haim

My name is gadi ben haim and I have teaching guitar for 30 years Before I started teaching I attended and graduated from Berklee college of music in Boston After graduation I joined the band big time and toured with them for about three years. At the end of that tour I settled in New Jersey and started teaching while gigging with different bands in New York and New Jersey.

In 1991 I moved to Israel where I grew up,and started playing with local artists and bands,performing on tv regularly while still teaching privately in my appointment. I came back to the states a couple of times to play gigs in Los Angeles,and did quite a few gigs in England and Germany. In the year 2000 I started a music school in Giv’atayim Israel which is also a recording studio.

The school is still going strong although COVID has forced me and my staff to teach from home. For the past year I have been teaching on zoom and I have discovered that it is quite an effective platform for teaching guitar.
